About
A Richmond web studio for the trades.
I'm Brian. I build and look after websites for service businesses around Richmond — the kind of businesses where the website's only real job is to make the phone ring.
Why this exists
There's a gap in the market that's easy to see once you look. National template companies sell cheap sites and nobody ever answers the phone afterward. Larger agencies do good work but quote numbers that don't make sense for a six-person plumbing outfit. In between sits a lot of businesses with a site somebody's nephew built in 2014, quietly losing work to competitors who load faster.
I'd rather be the person who fixes that and then sticks around.
How I work
Evidence before opinions. Every engagement starts with a free report — real speed scores, real SEO gaps, real comparison against your nearby competitors. If your site doesn't need much, the report says so. It's a much better conversation than "you need a redesign."
Systems, not one-offs. Every site is built on the same platform I've refined over each project. That's why launches are quick and performance is consistent rather than a matter of luck — and why I can charge accessible prices without cutting corners on the parts that matter.
AI where it earns its keep. Research, auditing, drafting, and the routine parts of monitoring are automated, which is how one person can look after a full book of clients properly. What isn't automated: your report gets read by a human before it's sent, and you deal with me, not a ticket queue.
Local on purpose. Working only in the Richmond metro means I can sit at your kitchen table, and it means I know who you're actually competing against — because I've probably audited their site too.
What I'm not
Not an agency with account managers. Not the cheapest option, and not trying to be. Not interested in selling a redesign to someone who needs their Google Business Profile set up properly instead.
