Fabrio Digital ("we", "us") builds and maintains websites for businesses in the Richmond area. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It's written to be read, not to be impenetrable.
Information you give us
When you submit a form on this site, we receive:
- Your name and email address
- Your business name and website address, if you request a website report
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- Whatever you write in the message field
We use it to reply to you, to prepare the report you asked for, and to follow up about the work you inquired about. Nothing else.
Information we collect about websites
Our service involves analyzing websites — including, when you ask for a report, yours. That means requesting your publicly available pages and measuring things like load speed, page structure, and search metadata, in much the same way a search engine does. We only ever look at pages that are publicly accessible. We do not attempt to access anything behind a login.
We also research publicly listed businesses in our service area — names, addresses, phone numbers, and website addresses from public sources such as business directories and search listings — to identify who might benefit from our work. If we contact you off the back of that research, every message includes a way to tell us to stop, and we honor it permanently on first request.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how this site gets used — which pages people read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the free-report form actually works. It stores a cookie in your browser and assigns it a random identifier. It does not receive your name, your email, or anything else you type into a form.
We do not build advertising profiles, we do not run ad trackers here, and we have not connected this data to any advertising product. If you'd rather not be counted, Google's opt-out browser add-on or any tracker blocker will do it — nothing on this site breaks if you use one.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We share it only with the services required to actually operate:
- Vercel — hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Resend — delivers the notification email carrying your inquiry.
- Cloudflare — provides DNS and routes email sent to our address.
- Google — provides site analytics, plus the performance and search data used in reports.
Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms. We'd also disclose information if the law genuinely required it.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept while there's an active conversation and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you come back. Records relating to actual client work are kept for as long as we're working together and afterward where we're required to. Ask us to delete your details and we will, apart from anything the law requires us to retain.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you
Email contact@fabriodigital.com and we'll act on it. There's no form to fill in and no charge. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act; we'll honor those requests regardless of whether they strictly apply.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. We keep credentials in a password manager and limit access to what's needed. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise — but we don't collect payment details or sensitive personal information through this website at all.
Children
This site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
